Wish I could get a refund.

I bought this thinking "well, it's cheaper than the book" but I immediately regretted it. Most of these "pop icons" are either people I've never seen or heard of or so obscure and un-iconic that it's not even that fun to look at them. Don't get me wrong, I think The Hives is an awesome band, and to me they're iconic in everything they do, but how many people have any clue who The Hives are? Same with The Horrors, and most of the people in the app. So maybe the artist of Minipops is doing it as more of a fanart thing, when I thought it was a sort of all-time tribute to the greats; I suppose I could be mistaken. Or maybe he's just British and has a different take on pop culture than the average American, so you won't find pretty much half of the people you think of as "pop icons". Whatever it is, I found this app sort of insignificant and definitely not worth two dollars. I wish I would have bought something else and just borrowed the book from the library instead.

I can't imagine a more appropriate medium for minipops than the screen of my iPhone. Fantastic! Waiting for the FFF Atlas app!
